Оk, hеre is my rant‚ and it going to piss off some people. Based on how the NC fares against PL, it appears that most of the NC has sub-100 IQ's and sub 100mil isk wallets. Really? Are you fucking serious?

PL has better organization and their members can follow simple fucking orders. We (Razor and the rest of the NC) are inferior in that aspect. Want to beat them? It's simple, copy them.

1) We need an FC that will not accept shit ships. Get some balls and kick people with the wrong ships. The FC also needs to keep the fleet at the proper range.

2) Grab some abaddons, t3 lokis (for tackle and sig radius reduction), a few hics, and a shitload of guardians (20% of the fleet). Don't accept anything else. Nothing! For some ungodly fucking reason we can't get it into our heads that 70 proper ships beats 150 random ships.

3) Guardians, stop your weak-ass killmail whoring. The t1 light armor bots from 20 guardians can give a tackling loki a 4,000+ dps tank. That's bots only, on a loki with under 100m sig radius. And seriously, stop bitching about not getting on killmails. You aren't getting on them now because you are losing your ass every time you go against PL. FC, again, get some balls and make logis spread out and deploy drones to make sure they have armor bots.

This fleet setup will work against everything. Going against a LR hostile fleet would be annoying until you get a warpin on them, but until then, you still won't lose anything. Stop with the retarded theory crafting, grab your abaddons/lokis/guardians, and go have some fun.

about the rep drones: i agree that they work great on paper and i'll happily bring them once you figure out a way to retain them past the first fleetwarp
plus drones tend to suck in lag anyways taking 2-3 mins to launch in lag that only gives mods about 5-10 seconds activation lag and abandoning themselves rather then returning to dronebay and all that stuff

so essentially while you would have a way better tank (after several minutes setup time and with flight time should you want to switch them to another target) you WILL be with an empty drone bay for 90-95% of all ops

its really one of those "looks great on paper and would be awesome if it worked that way" ideas that sadly do not work very well

well i can only comment from my experience of flying guardians exclusively for about a year now (check my killboard if you want to‚ the only non-guardian losses are the occasional scimi and some gimmick fleets) and as to the warping it heavily depends on the FC... and "letting the enemy come to you" is just plain stupid since you give up the possibility of dictating range.... anyways, please fly a guardian in a regular laggy fleet with the occasional fleetwarp and report back how long your repdrones lasted before discarding actual experience

like i said i'd totally bring repdrones if there was a) another way of showing i was actually there and wasnt ratting/spinning ships (might be there once the cube goes live) and b) if lag permitted me actually recalling drones and them actually making it into my dronebay instead of just abandoning themselves when i recall them before a fleetwarp

i mean hell even with dropping 1 warrior at a time i usually run out of drones after half the fight is done due to gamemechanics

Two things are true.
Yes‚ FC'ѕ can bе kinda fucked and don't give adequate warning‚ eѕpеcially in high-lag environments‚ to get droneѕ in. It's еasy to lose a lot of drones that way and that needs to change on the operational level. Alar is right on that point‚ it happenѕ and most logis that pack damagе drones will wind up with an empty drone bay by the end of an average op.
Buuuuuut‚ deploying rep droneѕ providеs a non-zero benefit for your fleet and‚ eѕpеcially if you put them on a high-value target (in lag light enough that drones are still working)‚ provideѕ a significant buffеr to them getting made dead‚ while a drone bay full of warrior II'ѕ arе useful pretty much only for killmail whoring. They're also a fuck of a lot cheaper than a bay full of warrior II's‚ ѕo thеre's no real excuse not to use them other than the whoring argument.
I've said it before and I'll say it again‚ the optimal way for uѕ to usе Guardians is with rep drones and we really should all engage in optimal combat behavior.

Also‚ yah, we really, really, really need to ѕеt up an ap so that Guardian pilots can be recognized‚ and their corpѕ rеwarded‚ for their participation.
