first of all at t1 and even early t2 the only real def the game offers is a strong offense. massed armys not only overwhelm defenses‚ but also "hold ground". after t2 shields go up some def strats can work, but must relly on high dps long range easly replaceable units instead of point def and aa turrets only. Anything that sacrifices a stable economy or a stable flow of units is a death sentence. one thing that bugs me is how expensive and worthless anti ground air units are in comparison to normal ground units. worst of all they are unable to properly hold ground. all t1 air units and some t2 are only good for killing other air units, unit transport and economy attacks on other players. Оh yеah never try and air attack rivik's mass produced powerplants. they are a trap. they are not closely packed enough to provide the chain reaction explosions we all expect.
