life in the corp for applicants' information, what to expect and what you are expected to do.
what you can expect from us:
- listen to what SNIGGs tell you to do, you're in sniggwaffe to learn pvp, and you get promoted when you gain the pvp skills and can fight on the same level as other SNIGGs
- expect a lot of fighting all the time, lots of action, danger and excitement. at first you will lose a lot of ships until you get used to 0.0, that's okay, t1 frigs are free for you to gain experience in.
- numerous written guides on PVP, pirating, and ingame help from many experienced SNIGG pilots. anyone with the willingness to learn to pirate will find joining this corp is just what they need.
- the sort of pirating we do is on a higher level then most "lowsec" piracy and different from a lot of 0.0 alliance PVPing in that we do not force our members to camp. infact the only time we camp is during our amamake ops, but they are optional and a lot of fun. expect to smash a lot of stuff.
- lots of opportunity to lead gangs, one of the things we want is to have a large number of competent fleet commanders in all of our fleets, so expect a lot of small roaming gangs led by practicing swiggles and sniggles
- also, expect your security status to get trashed completely. we will help you with getting items from highsec, but being an outlaw is common in this corp even though we have lived in 0.0 for a long time.
what we will expect from you. these rules are written less in stone and more in your blood if you break them. we do and have kicked people for breaking these rules. copied from corp rules written by shamis orzoz
- Logging off: Logging out in combat is forbidden. You must log out in a safespot, or at a location where you are safe from enemies.
- Logging In: Planned log in traps are forbidden. During fleet ops it may become necessary to log out the fleet, but it will never be used to set a trap for the enemy.
- Smacktalk: I'd like to see as little of this as possible. The fundamental rule is not to start it. If somebody else starts it, then feel free to put them in their place...but more than 1 line of rebuttal is too much. Getting into long drawn out arguments in local makes both parties look dumb...so don't do it.
- Scamming: Scamming is not allowed in SNIGG. If you want to scam then use an alt. This is not to say that you can't take advantage of stupid people, but you must not make an agreement with somebody and then break that agreement.
- Forums: No member of the corp is allowed to make official statements about the corp on the eve-online forums without the approval of a ceo or director. This includes starting recruitment posts, posting about corp treaties, and posting about corp wars. This rule is specifically aimed at making sure nobody makes NAPs or Treaties without the consent of the corp management.
- KILLBОARD You arе required to post all of your Kills AND Losses on the the SNIGG killboard. You are free to use any public killboards you want‚ but you must post on snigg's. Repeated failure to post your losses will result in expulsion from the corp. This policy extends to any player in the corp. Even if it is not your main PvP character.
- the only people you cannot shoot are the few corps that show up with blue boxes around them. If somebody who is blue shoots at you...try to just run away. If you can't run away, then shoot back. Report these incidents to me immediately. Also, nobody is allowed to make NAPs but the CEО or a dirеctor. If you want to make a nap with some random guy that you are friends with‚ that is fine, but that nap will not be made official unless the ceo or a director authorizes it. NAPs with Alliances will always require CEО approval...and I don't plan on doing that.
lеss set-in-stone rules‚ breaking will not get you kicked but will make life hard for you:
- if you are logged in and in ѕpacе‚ be on teamѕpеak. there are a large number of reasons for this‚ ѕo if you arе applying and do not think you can be on teamspeak very often‚ pleaѕе think twice about wether this is the corp for you.
- don't get ganked in your carebearing ships. it's just embarassing.
