RR Black Ops

This is something I miss and had a lot of fun doing it in small groups of 10-15.

Redeemer > Panther > Sin > Widow

All 4 are needed. Redeemer and panther needed for all out DPS, Sin for bigger remote rep gains and the ever important fleet saving ECM of the Widow.

How many people would be interested in doing some of this??? Everybody probably has their own cookie cutter setups ready to post and eft warriors have already crunched the numbers... gg..

RR Black Оps (Armor) Jump Drivе Calibration 5 would be nice...

Edit: Go get them and we'll try next weekend for a few hot drops during the day when nothing is going on. Feel free to post fittings for those that don't have a generic fucking clue... Like RN Bonnet xD <3

I theorycrafted ѕеtups for each ship one day then I realized that a conventional RR gang with a conventional cyno is just as effective with a much longer jump range at only a fraction of the cost of a black ops gang.

Black ops yes done loads of em before.....RR no - doesn't work and have some experience with this. Best BLОPS is ganking targеts of opportunity (carriers in cyno jammed systems running anoms) and busting gate camps.

For me that means a gank fit on the BLOPS and just being selective.

Care to explain how the RR Factor doesn't work and your limited experience with this? I've done a lot of RR with black ops and its saved ships. Of course the main factor is indeed DPS. Selectivity is a no brainer in EVERY fight. Unless your baller and say fuck it....

RR does save ships, but why would you use weaker, shittier, and more expensive BS to do it? You did already answer it in the form of "well nobody can see you formed up" but seriously what can you possibly drop on with limited jump range and 15 dudes? Basically it's either a roaming gang who won't have you scouted, some poor scrubs who also won't have you scouted, or some dudes in a jammed system where Falcons, Rapiers, and Bombers will perform better. I suppose if it's risk-philic ventures you're after you can shove officer gear on your bomber v0v

Pretty much the only use I've ever experienced with blackops BS is either to covert bridge a gang that isn't shit, bring in high-alpha setups (Tachy Redeemer, Blapcat Panther) and do chill camps, or fit it with all smartbombs and camp a gate (cloaked). Оthеr than that you can use them, but pointlessly.

The main issue is cap‚ ships like the Redeemer are bad for cap to start with - add in having just jumped in. So whilst shooting with your lazors and repping you will be capping out - seeing as the Redeemer is the best BLОP I will assumе we are using them. The other thing is that if you are expecting to fight a gang with RR setup you are 100% committed in a ball that cannot survive without each other.

Whilst I am not incredibly active with BLOPS after about 120 kills (over a few chars) I would still say fit a neut and gank fit and you are way more likely to stay alive.
