I'm not arguing with you on the merits of swapping everyone into a Nag or any of the other reasons not to do this, just pointing out that for "effective dps" resists matter even above 90%.
Let us do some math:
Your typical Aeon (x-type hardeners, 2x a-type eanm) will have 93.7/91.8/90.5/89.9 resists. Now assume your Moros and bh's Nag in the op. The blasters have a 0/42/58/0 damage profile and the split weapons on the Nag 0/0/11/89. Reducing with resists on the target we get the "real damage" (not accounting for raw dps) to 8.95 for the Moros and 10.03 for the Nag, a 12% difference.
Looking at the dps, the Moros with drones puts out about 1% more raw damage than the Nag and those drones are also pure exp for both so that would require a bit more napkin for the full calculations, but we can safely say that the damage type gives about a 10% advantage for the Nag. Again, not arguing the merits of anything, but he has a point when talking about "real dps".
As for missiles, we should be dropping these if not at zero, then quite close to our target. Travel time and possible smartbombing could be a problem, but citadel torps still go 2.6km/s so it is not a huge issue, they have 1920hp and will pass through the range of high-end smartbombs in less than one cycle. Assume that if blasters are in range then so are torps.
The reduction formula is based around this factor: (explosion velocity / explosion radius) * (signature radius / velocity). There is even more math involved for the exact expression, but in short if this is less than 1, you take reduced damage.
Again with our Aeon, steaming along fully aligned at 66m/s (3xtrimark) sporting a 11 870m sig, against a sieged torpedo, explosion velocity 12m/s, radius 2000m. This will have a reduction factor of 1.08 and thus our torpedo hits for full damage. Without trimarks there would be some damage mitigation with a factor of .95, but we can probably disregard that scenario.
