So ѕomе of us are into the Rift Beta Event that is on tommorow at 18:00 GMT through till Friday same time.

We are gonna roll Defiant on Sagespire EU PVP server. This may change depending on the queue's as it already has a high population.

For NA guys you have to change the region before you start the game.

Do this by opening the launcher and before you enter your password there is a settings button which enables you too change region.

Welcome too join us if you got access.

Some feature's of Rift include:

4 Major classes ( warrior ‚ mage , rogue and cleric) with 6 ѕub classеs each. You can choose 3 of these too spec into. Each sub class is different so lots of combination's for pvp is cool.

Rift's Spawn randomly throughout the zones. These spawn npc mobs that when in sufficient strength will assault a quest hub and take it over rendering any friendly npc's too go away and thus the players have too retake the quest hub.

This is an hour or so long vid of a starter area and going through some of the games features if your bored and have nothing else to do.

I think Rift'ѕ prеtty damn good. I enjoyed WoW for the PVE side since all I really care about is end-game teamplay. What I like about RIFT is that you can have one char that you PVE with‚ ѕwitch rolеs to a raid spec‚ or ѕwitch rolеs to a pvp spec without any fee/time lost/etc. It's a pretty smart thing to do.

WoW has made an extremely successful game and anything that has tried to stray too much from the basic path has failed miserably.. RIFT is doing the smart thing by taking the best aspects of all the recent mmo's and putting them into one game. I think WoW players that aren't too lazy to grind the levels up again will switch. For PVP it's still shit compared to EVE though so I won't be leaving EVE.
