i think some of you may remember the glorious days of fake killmail posting, declaring cyber war on killboards, etc etc.

Well we have done extensive damage to the validity and credibility of killmails in general, and I think that it would behoove us to make reparations in the form of reporting all fake and dishonourable killmails that litter his boards. apparently he trusts his reporting system very much, and automatically unhooks any killboard feeds that are reported as being malicious killboards feeding false info.

We need to come together as a group and show that pandemic legion is not merely a bunch of trolls, but we're responsible members of the community who care enough to take the time to improve the services created for the benefit of us all.

any killmails that are not listed as api verified are reportable. that means manually posted‚ or taken from feeder killboardѕ(you cant tеll the difference). reporting bans the whole feeder killboard or else the ip of the killmail poster as well as possibly other mails they posted.

karb does make money from the killboards but AFAIK they do not massively offset the costs of running the servers or maintaining the database or code. i wouldnt suggest doing anything so drastic that would end up shutting down the killboards‚ juѕt somеthing to prod him into making angry forum posts some times
