I won't make any predictions about the consequences of losing this outpost‚ but is in our best interests to hold it today.

The DRF campaign's advance may have stalled, but we are currently committed to retaining our gains.

Op failure.

The moderately observant of you will have noticed the bombing run as we moved to engage in M3-‚ and will probably consider that where we lost the engagement.

The truth is we never should have been on that gate, jumping into them, in the first place.

This needed to be an inter-alliance operation. And today our inter-alliance coordination was just terrible.

I won't rant about the details, but the delays meant that they had their shit together before we did, got into system first and made us come to them.

That is how we lost the engagement.

All I can say is thanks for showing up. We'll try to do better next time. Next time is the M3- station timer in two days. We have another chance.

Adding FCs isn't quick nor easy. Even for those with previous experience it takes time to learn to work together. But we have a good group to build on. And that group has a new dedication to bringing in new people.

Not everyone wants to FC. It's not easy, and it can be stressful. But it is fun as hell and pulling off a successful fleet is one of, if not the most, rewarding thing in EVE. No matter your experience level, we're lucky to have some very good opportunities for FC (and Fleet) training right now.

So y'know that guy in your corp that's been dragging you and a few of your corpmates out to looking for trouble? Maybe your gang isn't a real fleet, and he may not consider himself a commander, but he's definitely the leader of the crew, and he seems like he's got a pretty good handle on things so far.

Ya, that guy. You should prod him to step up and give some bigger stuff a try. Maybe he'll tell you he's not ready, but don't worry, we'll start him off with the easy stuff and we'll have his back.

Trust me, this FCing thing is a blast. Eventually he'll thank you for pushing him to get into it.

Yeah well‚ I am Logistics Chief of DUST and mostly have theoretical PVP knowledge. Given these facts I like to run small, specialized gangs (like stealth bombers) once in a while and don't hesitate to enter a fight and let all of them die. Cheesy I do have family and a 12yo son which mostly limits my online time to 2100-2400 CET (yes, that is Central European Time) in which I could work as a FC. German is my native language but I guess I have the basic skills in english, both written and verbal. A german tutor is generally preferred during training if you can arrange that.

I am frustrated of being raped by PL, frustrated because of running away from the enemy and not entering a fight and frustrated because people don't bring the right ship types. My MОTD is: "If I don't gеt the right ships‚ the gang won't leave. Deal with it or gtfo!"

If you can live with these limitations and accept(!) them I am very happy if you can give me the opportunity to ruin the one or another homedefense fleet or gate camp. Cool

Оh, and btw, I just don't want to bе the guy that only criticises someone‚ I really want to improve sth.

Fleet vs Fleet, they have great fitted, medium numbers of people who generally follow orders. We have beat them before and will do it again.

contracts worth 100's of billions of isk litterarly trillions of isk they have earned from merc contract just this year. in fact we the NC paid them 300+ bill isk to hit IT space when IT was hitting us in the last invasion.

also winning alot of fights mean looting alot of shit for their members and that can make you a pretty decent income alone‚ think about it how many super capitals fitted with uber shit they have looted just from the NC in the last month never mind the whole year.

they also get paid for some contracts in super capitals which explains hwo they have one the biggest super cap fleets in eve.

Majesta seems to have some real difficulty burning out leadership (FC and otherwise). Sure there's always turnover. Some people can play more one month and less another. But this is more than that. We burn people out faster than they can be brought in. In a group of a thousand people we should have more than enough. So there's a dysfunction. What is it?

I think it's respect. And I don't mean "respect authority" and do what I say respect. I mean respect those who are willing to put the extra time and effort into doing the things that make this alliance work. And it goes both ways too: For those in leadership positions remember that just because you've been entrusted with a key role in our organization doesn't let you off the hook for being disrespectful to the rest of our membership.

That's a point I've been meaning to make for a while now. I may as well make in this post‚ as well any other.

No more half measures.

PL are a nuisance. They have been a disproportionally effective nuisance‚ but they are not a critical threat. We've been running fleets to counter them so long as people felt like it. But, as they intended, trekking back and forth does take its toll.

So it's time to focus.

This weekend is all about high value targets in Etherium Reach.

These will be NC joint ops, primarily out of LXQ2-T. We'll be running trains to/from LS-JEP, but you can save yourself some hassle by sticking a few ships in LXQ.

Grab a few Inties/Dictors/Tackle-frigs to bring to any fleets for which you might not have the primary ship class.

Оvеrwhelming force is what we do best.

This initial post is a little light on details. Those will be forthcoming as ops are announced. If you have any questions please ask them in the thread.
