I live in France (GMT+1), so obviously I speak french but also english (5 years in the UK). I play EvE 20 to 50 hours a week.
As an occupation, I'm a 32 year old Network Analyst for a company outsourcing network solutions for airports. Married for close to 10 years.

♥3♥ Do you approve of scamming people in Eve? Have you ever done so? Do you think it’s okay not to honour ransoms?
Scamming is part of the game (though scamming your mates is lame). I've kinda scammed before, though i'd prefer to call it "insider trading" (Selling stations to some pets in Scalding Pass).
Though, I've never asked for ransoms, I think ransoms should be honoured.


♥4♥ Do you approve of metagaming/spying in Eve? Have ever you done so or had it done to you? Do you have any useful spy alts? PM details about them to Elise Randolph.
Metagaming/Spying is in a way what makes EvE so fun. Never really spied on anyone (except getting pos password from some disgruntled directors), and chances are my former corps/alliances have been spied on (would be naive not to think so).
I have a noob corp recon pilot that I use for hotdrops/getting intels.

I can fly all minmatar/amarr tech 2 cruisers as well as amarr tech 2 BS and caps. Can also fly Gallente Recons and some Gallente HAS.
I mostly like flying cynabals/vaga, zealots, guardians and scimitars.
FC'ed a bit for roaming gangs as well as some 30-50 men fleet but nothing major. I guess I make also a decent scout.

Yes. I pay for EvE with RL money.


♥8♥ How long have you been playing Eve? Tell us a little about your Eve history, greatest achievements, your favorite fights/kills, previous corporations/alliances, and any past friendly or unfriendly relationships you’ve had with us.
Been playing EvE for close to 2 years and a half.
Started the game, got in a rifter and started to look for troubles 2-3 days later (tricking an hi sec mining stabber, roaming solo in low sec), learning the hard way.
Tried FW for a bit then joined Defcon (a french corp part of TCF at that time). They kept me in their academy in hisec for around 6 months and I finally got in 0.0 in january 2009.
Took part in Delve Mk2, corp merged with another TCF corp and formed Pulsar which left TCF in late 2009. Formed Cursed alongside Section XIII in April 2010.

This next section is designed to get to know more about your Eve knowledge and what you would do in different situations.

♥17♥ While roaming, you find a Drake in a belt and engage it (you decide what ship(s) you’re roaming in, and give us the setups here too). Half way through the fight, while the Drake has you warp disrupted, a Basilisk uncloaks. What do you do?

I'm flying the cynabal as fitted above safely orbiting the drake at around 16km. The basilisk uncloaks, I switch primary to him. Hopefully he will be taken out fast enough since he might have a rather light tank due to cap modules.
Switch back to the drake once done if he has not warp out yet, though my shield should be fairly low at that point. Try to finish him, and just warp out when shield is failing.

♥18♥ You are roaming with an alliance member, both of you in vagabonds, and spot a lone Drake on a gate in an empty system. What do you do?

Have my mate jump on contact and give me intel and have him reapproach gate if clear. I start orbiting the drake out of scram range and then engage. If drake jumps, my mate will tackle him.
If drake aggroes me, have my mate jump back and engage as well.

♥19♥ You are solo roaming in a Vagabond and jump into a gate camp with some interceptors and Arazus. How do you survive, if possible?

Wait for 30 sec, overload my MWD and reapproach the gate, hoping inertia wont be a bitch.

♥20♥ You are with a friend, both of you in supercarriers, in low-sec killing a small offline tower. Suddenly, a falcon uncloaks and 50 roleplayers bridge in on top of both of you with eight HICs and 50k dps worth of ships. How do you survive?

Warp out to your safe as the falcon uncloaks. Since you're aligned to it, it should be pretty quick. Then jump on your emergency cyno.
If anything else fail, maybe I fitted a remote ECM burst that will break the HID lock on me (since they have to target to use focused interdiction), spam the warp button and hope for the best.

♥21♥ You are with a friend, both of you in scrubby battlecruisers (e.g. Hurricanes or Harbingers) with weak tanks, in low sec. A Tempest aggros you under sentry fire and neutralizes all your cap, but you are able to MWD away out to 30km after taking a lot of damage. Do you leave your friend to die?

Since I was the one having aggro, my mate should be already at a safe distance while keeping tackled. Try to kill it if possible, if not the fairly long cycle of heavy neuts should allow us to warp out if our tank is failing.

♥22♥ You are in Оld Man Star and havе intel of a Nyx warping around. Describe the steps you would take to find the Nyx.

I take my noob corp alt jump in his HID (with a cloak‚ cyno, warp disruption gen and a probe launcher), and fit 1-2 ECCM.
Get into system and warp to a safe spot, offline my mwd so that i can online my probe launcher, launch probes + load focused script and cloak.
Оncе i get him at 100%‚ I uncloak and warp to him. I tackle him, I open my cyno while overloading my ECCMѕ in casе there's some jamming going on.

I'd say it might be missing a little cap recharge and double local rep might not be as necessary. So removed both trimark for CCC‚ removed one capital rep for a thermal hardener.

What is your reason for wanting to leave S13 in favor of PL?

I was in Pulsar Inc not S13 .
I'm leaving because corp and alliance is losing pace and there's no sign of it being different anytime soon.
Too many people waiting for things to happen but not taking any initiative.
Fleets are getting smaller‚ leaderѕ arе burnt out (that includes me even if I was just an occasional low level FC and a diplo).
After 2 years in a french corp in french alliances I came to the conclusion that the french member base in EvE willing to play together is just too small to at least maintain fleet level and have a decent turnover.

Why HABIT ?
1)because you guys fly together because you like pvp‚ not becauѕе you speak the same language. That changes a lot of things from my point of view.
2)PvP activity seems to fit with my play time (I play most of the time at night till late‚ 5am GMT+1). 4 dayѕ work, 4 days off.
3)I likе it rough

Ok I think I got the idea.
Never flew in an optimized spider tank cap fleet‚ but I reckon getting rid of any local rep would be a good idea as well as working on resist and cap recharge. Getting rid of the point as well, since I guess the main problem there would be hostile super caps.

So I'd with something like that. Оbviously it wont bе perfect‚ I lack the expertiѕе in this type of fleet‚ ѕo maybе a cap power relay would be missing.

Because their DPS should be faily low but they have many tackles.
Not jumping as soon as you are at jump range might allow that extra faggot to get aggro on you. That will be one less following you and even an opportunity to kill something on the other side of the gate.
