Hallo friends!

So I got back from the Fiji wedding this morning to find a few crazy things. First, holy shit college football WTC is going on there

Also, it turns out my neighbor had an "accident" in the shower (read: she tried to have sex, failed, and flooded her apt. While highly unlikely, it's the only scenario I can imagine that doesn't enrage me to the point of homicide). While hilarious, this news becomes a bit more bothersome when you learn that this neighbor is the one that lives above me, and her floor is now my floor. Like, literally the floor fell down and my shit got flooded. ОK, for somе of you this may have made the story more hilarious. However, a massive inconvenience for me.

The good news is that, due to my amazing karma, the only thing that got destroyed was my TV, everything in my bathroom, and a bunch of my girlfriends shit - so I pretty much got out of this smelling like roses.

Right now in my apt is a largely-inept union crew fixing everything. And by fixing everything I of course mean they're sitting around talking on the phone. In fairness, I did talk to one guy about football so they're not totally useless. Getting to the point, I'm pretty much homeless until these guys figure out that the easiest way to fix the ceiling is by fixing the floor. They told me my shit will be fixed by Halloween, which means I'll be playing SPACESHIPS via 3g connection and shitty laptop for two weeks.

So, I'll be around but in a mostly olde-guarde type of way - I won't play but I'll idle on comms and f5 forums - until they fix my shit and I can use the internet superhighway again.

It did not destroy too much but the cleanup was a bitch. I finally got my place back in order a few days ago. anyway I hope the reconstruction goes as smoothly as possible.
