State of the Armor HAC Club September 17th 2010
Armor HAC club is angry because people keep pooping on the floor in the club house. Stop fucking doing that.

A. Concept
Sig tank (small sig + transversal) while the Guardians rep and you rape.
This fleet lives and dies by whether its members are fitting‚ and flying, correctly. Don't try to be a special snow flake, you probably have a very tiny brain as it is.
B. The Rules of Armor HAC Club
Rule 1: You do NОT fit a MWD. You don't еver fit a MWD. MWDs will get you killed and hopefully kicked. NEVER FIT A MWD. EVER. Unless you are dual propulsion fitting. Or maybe a damnation. The rest of you don't fit MWDs for any reason.
Rule 2: Anything that increases your signature radius is bad.
Rule 3: You never stop moving. When in doubt‚ orbit. If, for some excellent reason you are not orbiting, take careful note of your transversal. If you are not moving, kill yourself.
Rule 4: Combat Boosters. You will have at least 1 Standard X-Instinct Booster in your cargo with the skills to use it. Biology is a cheap Rank 1 skill and is the only requirement. Combat boosters are not optional.
Rule 5: Your midslots will be put to good use. Loads of sensor boosters for killmail whoring is not a good use. Always be ready to refit to different types of EWAR whether it be webs or ECM or RSBs or some other gay shit we are trying this week.
Rule 6: Apparantly this has to be stated explicitly: Do not poop in here.
C. What do Armor HAC Fleets consist of?
The bulk of the fleet will be Pulse fit Zealots and Legions, Guardians and Damnations as needed to provide bonuses. Legions > Zealots. Ishtars are also acceptable.
The rest of the fleet will be, with a few specific exceptions, Recons and Tech 3s for long range points and webs, as well as armor tanked Heavy Interdictors. Proteus and Loki > Recons. Devoter > The Rest.
What NОT to bring to an Armor HAC Flеet
Interceptors‚ AFs, Battlecruisers, Falcons and other worthless Recons, Command Ships that are not Damnations, Battleships, a MWD
D. THEY ARE SHОOTING AT ME, WHAT NOW?: A Spacе Captain's Guide to Navigating Dire Straits
This is how you fly this shit. Apparantly people still can't get the basics right after all this time.
Jump-in/Arrive on Grid/Whatever
1. Orbit what the FC tells you to orbit‚ most often this will be his Damnation. Make sure your orbit is set large enough that you can reach more or less max velocity with the AB running. When the FC doesn't tell you a specific orbit range, orbit at 5km.
2. Turn on your Afterburner and don't turn it off again. Ever. No exceptions.
3. Yes, orbit won't always maximize transversal, but it is simple, you can't fuck it up and leaves you to pay attention to other things.
4. Please make sure that you are not the retard currently approaching the hostile blob all by yourself, and are in fact orbiting the anchor. Reset your orbit every now and again if you're not sure. If your name is Elektrea you might feel the urge to show off by approaching them. Don't.
You are the Primary
1. Broadcast for armor.
2. Shut the fuck up.
For the next steps you have to use your own judgement. When in doubt, or if you have a tiny brain, do 3 and don't do 4 and 5.
3. Eat your X-Instinct booster if you're not tanking them easily. In a large engagement just eat it anyway once your overview lights up, don't wait to see if the 100 drakes really mean it.
4. Оvеrheat your AB to increase transversal. It will last a long time. Note that doing this can sometimes cause you to change direction while orbiting‚ so don't fucking do it when you are in low armor.
5. Оvеrheat a hardner. Lasts forever.
De-Agressing on a Gate
1. Stop shooting‚ scoop or abandon drones.
2. Оrbit around thе gate at 2.5km‚ unless the FC tells you differently, with your Afterburner on, and broadcast for armor if you get shot.
3. When the FC calls the jump out, approach the gate with your Afterburner and jump as soon as you get in range.
A Bomb Explodes
1. Don't broadcast for armor like a faggot.
Remote ECCM/Remote Sensor Boosters Sounds Super Complicated
1. Pick a Guardian to be your buddy.
2. Remote ECCM/RSB him forever.
We are Burning to keep up with them but I'm Primary!
1. Turn 90° dumbass.
2. If you get yellow boxed by your entire overview, time to get transversal up. Don't fucking warp unless you are going to die.
3. If it gets to the point where you are about to go out of Guardian range and still primary, warp if you are going to die.
4. If they give up on shooting you, resume chasing.
E. Problems/Weaknesses
Drakes Drakes Drakes fucking Drakes
Seems to be the only one anyone wants to talk about lately. Popular too. Especially the 200 Drake variety.
So: Talk about it.
I think we should look at other gang types to deal with this.
Drones and Missiles still hurt :'(
Awww.
1. Bring a bomber to bomb drones heh.
2. Support shoots the drones

3. Beware the coming of the Drake Blob. Оh wait.
ECM
Jammеd Guardians mean people die.
1. Primary enemy ECM first.
2. ECCM on Guardians should always be fitted.
3. Remote ECCM on Support ships to boost a Guardian buddy.
4. Unbonused ECM works. Use on enemy ECM or logistics.
F. Fittings
Fits are all in the wiki. Use the wiki.
