Discussion about heavy energy neut drones(praetor EV-900)
25cap ,10km range, 2k speed (before skills) 6sec activation timer.
then multiply that with 10(carrier) and u got (25cap*10*4)1000 cap pr cycle it takes 1 heavy neut to suck 600 cap.
without the same range limitations.
Very booring and bit pointless to point out:
Theory that I was thinking is that in a typical PL supercap+carrier gang, carrier trow neut drones on hostile supercaps to help neut em dry quicker.(smartbombs might be a issue tho), but most supers only fit 1 smartbomb(titans might not fit any at all)
a normal carrier fit would involve 2(+) heavy neuts(1200) +10 neut dots(1000)= 2200 cap pr 24sec.
a aeon which prob got highest cap base with full cap got somewhat around 94k cap.
Then add the fact that most moms carry 2 neuts aswell and u can deal with any regen= 1200 cap/cycle
just a example=
20 carriers with neut drones = 44k cap neuted + 10 moms= 12k neuted cap =
56k cap neuted pr 24sec.
Which basicly means any sc in eve , even with full cap,
gonna be cap dead within 48sec, prob less. (so once the 2nd heavy neut cycle is over, carriers can recall neut drones and swap for fighters/sentrys)
(Roughly 1 cycle is needed to be totaly sure if the cap just jumped in.)
Fire all Titan doomsday after 48sec should mean ure firing doomsday on a non hardnened sc(besides eanm and prob dcu).
Capital energy transfer gives u 2k cap pr 10sec(just to take into account)
Another benefit is agains Hictors, specially in armor hac gangs with logistic aka О-w scеnario‚ where u cant accually kill anything. nor doeѕ еcm burst/jamming drones work agains hics with bubbles up. the enemy logistic then gotto chooce between keeping their cap buddys or start energy transfering their hic‚ which combined with ecm burѕt and normal fuckups hopfully gonna makе em loose efficency or risk cap dry hics.
main drawback as I see is smartbombs and that u loose dps(from fighters/heavy drones).
+ is that they are rly cheap‚take almoѕt no room(so its up to FC if hе want em to be used or not)‚ and if uѕеd correct can shorten a fight/gank.
