Part of being in waffleѕ is lеarning to operate with less numbers than everybody else‚ becauѕе‚ aѕ part of PL, you will indеed always have less numbers than everybody else.

In area's like Tama‚ you develop diplomatic ѕkills, and opеration experience in dealing with large groups of hostiles‚ and the art of getting a kill and getting the fuck out.

We were doing the exact same shit we're doing now, just with more camping, the top-left part of your screen saying 0.4 instead of 0.0, and the inability to roam in anything smaller than a cruiser without getting trapped in a system for 15 fucking minutes the instant you engaged someone that wasn't an outlaw. Us temporarily going back to teamspeak is because mumble doesn't let you restrict visibility to channels. Being near PL is more valuable in the long run, so I still think waffles should keep a presence in bpk-, despite it getting slightly crowded with WN moving in next door. As Grath said, learn to love the blob and fight it on your own terms. Cloakers, interceptor gangs and whatever you can think of to hit targets of opportunity and gtfo are all useful skills in the long run. It is also a good way to get to know each other in smaller gangs without a PL FC raging on your retarded ass for bubbling at the wrong time.

However, there is nothing wrong with keeping a vacation clone and some ships somewhere else when the blob becomes too much of a hassle. The faction warfare areas around Amamake/Tama could fill that role. It's not that hard to jump down for a night when you feel like it and learning to work with aggro mechanics is always useful. Decide on a system and set up R&R ops in downtime between major events and you get to have your cake and eat it too.
