ОK.
So I log on at about 20.00 Evе to find that PL (assisted by some Goons and Russian corps) have SBUd ttp-2b (http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Insmother/TTP-2B ) a strategically important station system we rent out to HTA.

It is important as it is one cap jump from a lot of our holdings (including 0-W778) and will act as a base of operations for PL to hot drop us / expand into Insmother. They already have a POS in Q7- which is between ttp and cj-6.

We are aware that HTA are trying to defend their system (albeit very badly) already. We are told that the system is cyno jammed but that PL had managed to get in up to half a dozen super caps before the jammer came on line.
The reports we had were that they had 60/70 close range HACs with 6 Guardians and some t3 Loki /Proteus.

So we call a CTA and request RR B/S. Some discussion over whether snipe B/S /HACS would have more success but I went with the B/S option as fighting fire with fire was considered best option at that point.

Liaisons with HTA and –A- got them mobilised as well – although as usual this causes more delays as we wait for them to sort standings to each other etc.

We Titan bridge over to CJ-6 with about 50 RR B/S and 7 Logis and a mix of other tackle / dictors. We had also arranged a SB wing (need more next time) and got them cyno'd into the system via a Black Ops.

We head over towards ttp- but the lag was kicking in even then and upon hearing that they were camping the in gate at zero we took the view that the best option would be the HTA JB in N7- that would get us in safely without "death on jump in lag" that features in Eve atm.

All goes well we get the JB fuelled up‚ get passwords etc Jump in and hold at the PОS waiting for thе allies to sort their shit out and for us to get a warp in. The plan was to have an on grid spot 300km off to load grid‚ then whilst our SBs bombed the gate we could load grid safely and would warp to gate at Zero once bombs went off and if co-ordinated correctly overwhelm their guardians or if they had jumped through gate we would control system.

Mistake 1. We were at a PОS so wе were not able to rely upon a Fleet Warp (due to afkers). This meant that even though aligned in a 36au warp some faster warping ships arrived 4/5 seconds before the B/S with anyone slow to warp arriving 10-12 seconds after the first ships. This meant that‚ as they had probes out waiting for us on the grid, they get a warp in spot within 6 seconds or so and immediately brought their gang up to where we were landing. Lag was pretty terrible as usual with no mods on my ship activating for 30 seconds or so. This meant that all our Guardians went down without us even getting any reppers on them.
Next time we must plan to counter this with a dummy warp in or some such.

Mistake 2. We were told 6 guardians on gate. I counted 10 at the start of the fight…..this meant that as they had already locked up each other and loaded grid they had a huge advantage of lag that nearly killed us off. I also tried to mwd out of the bubbles dropped on us and could not turn off my mwd which may have meant the gang got a lot more spread out than was ideal…

So we begin the fight proper at about 20.54 Eve and lost all our Logis by about 21.03 thanks to not being able to activate repair mods.
HTA and –A- come in at this stage - -A- in Hacs with Guardians and HTA in whatever they could find it seems….
The we get a respite as –A- lose their Guardians and then PL target our ECM. But at least by now the lag is clearing and with about 30 seconds cycle lag on each mod we start trying to change targets quicker than they can work out who to target for repairs.
Eventually we start killing their Guardians as our allies target the same ship as us.

Mistake 3. We did not switch the target as early as we could have done. To be honest once it becomes clear that repairs are being given we should have immediately switched targets rather than trying to break the tank. Which we did do eventually – just a little inexperience of this type of fighting I think. We also were continuously closing on their FC / Anchor –around who they were orbiting – the idea being to cut down on transversal as they would end up moving directly away from us – this also helped I think.
Mistake 4. I know I was FCing and trying to do a lot but I can honestly only remember locking up two or maybe three guys on our side broadcasting for reps. I am not sure if this was lag on the broadcast (likely), or simply the massive alpha dps their Zealots was putting down (likely) or just people not broadcasting….which I don't believe.

The time this fight is taking is sllllllllooooooooowwwww beyond belief and after 30 minutes we had really only just started to kill the first of their Logistics.
Percy arrived with some reinforcements at this point (and promptly died lol) but the PL numbers just stayed put – but looking at the KB we killed I think 14 Guardians before they started to bail at about 21.55.

We managed to point about 4 /5 of them as they tried to get out. Notable kills were

Then we get to loot the field for a little while whilst our allied decide that they can shoot each other again now…. I am too tired by now to sort them out.
We got one gank on a Zealot outside their PОS shiеlds but not much else.
Then we start to shoot the SBU on the X0- gate and get it to about 30% shield before two things happen – we suffer a SB attack (7 bombs released shrapnel iirc). I assume PL were able to refit at the M/S that were in system as they have a safe POS in here at 13-2. Most of us take it like a man but we lose a few and quite a lot take serious damage. When the second wave attacks we are not ready and have to warp off.
CCP reboot the system for no apparent reason – hopefully they RF the node but it is not clear. We retire to the POS to rep up / sit out the reboot.
When we come back we reform fleet and go back to SBU shooting.
Then we get scout reports of PL Titan bridging more into Q7- and that they are heading our way……..then the remainder of their fleet in ttp arrive on the X0- gate as their reinforcements started to arrive in x0- and jump in.
We scatter trying to reform on the anchor point but I had picked a bad spot with a wreck close by and decided once I saw that they had 16 Guardians this time….we were never going to break that RR chain and that discretion was called for and gang warped to POS. This got a few late comers killed as they were left to die in a fire…..apologies but half my gang had logged thinking the fight was over for the night and we had falled from 120 to 60 in a matter of minutes and could not fight that new fleet.

This was 22.50 and I needed sleep so the gang decided to leave via the JB and left PL to own the system.

Summary - we eventually held the field‚ drew almoѕt еven on the ISK war (we used t1 insured b/s- they lost t2 stuff) and if you exclude the near 50 HTA losses without killing a thing before we got into system then we did pretty well considering. But they have numbers in US TZ that mean we need to do some more stuff tonight.....

Can someone else fill in if anything happened after that.
