Well.. the Sniper Fit is fairly well balanced, perhaps not the best setup but its tracking and optimal vs targeting ranges are reasonably well balanced (200+ targeting and 170+ optimal w/ spike)... perhaps a bit heavy on the armor rigs but not horrible.

The RR Mega setup is perhaps the worst of those that I posted. Far too heavy on the plates/armor and not heavy enough on the resists, especially for a RR setup. And somethings gotta give to drop a heavy cap booster in there, somehow the setup feels naked to me without one. Also preferably I would also drop a gun in favor of another RR. In an ideal world I would much rather setup the mega in much the same style as the herd domi. However this also presents itself with a number of drawbacks. First and foremost is DPS; due to the fact that such a setup would only allow the use of 4 maybe 5 guns (depending) you would have to rely on drones to make up the difference and push your DPS to a more acceptable level (~300 w/o drones to ~600 with drones; way too pathetic for a Mega imho), in which case you ought to be using the Domi in the first place. Second the holes in such a setup would have to be made up through rigs and the rigs needed just would not fit... or at least according to my down and dirty attempt at a "herd mega". Second.. the cap usage just doesnt add up; you'd need egress port rigs to help balance the cap load but then that draws away from filling the holes. Perhaps with a bit of tinkering it might work, but again you'd simply be better off with a Domi.

Оn to thе Muninn... a ship I have only tried to fly once or twice. I much prefer the Eagle for such an endeavor but I see Terribad already used that one and as I said I wanted to be different. The setup posted for the Muninn is balanced with regard to its targeting vs opti‚ and tracking; However for a more realiѕtic fit I would rеkit in favor of a slightly shortened range... perhaps in the 60-80km range; As targeting is at ~135km and opti+falloff is ~90+40. I personally am not a fan of long range Hac's anyway.

I much prefer a close range slugfest looking my target eye to eye; Ill take a Diemos or Zealot any day of the week.

Im sorry... what questions were asked that I didn't in some rambling way not already answer. I pointed out that by doing what I wanted to do with a mega it took away from the overall point of having the mega in the first place (i.e guns instead of reps) and that a domi would be far better off for such a "refit". I also correctly pointed out that the fit I listed was a bit heavy on armor and not heavy enough on resists. While I may not have expicitally said so the heavy cap booster will over time inject far more cap than a medium cap booster will. Yes a medium cap booster work better for the fit (i.e cpu/grid) but will not hold the duration. A medium cap booster has its uses‚ I alѕo pеrsonally do not feel that it works well for me.

As for the diemos/zealot‚ did I or did I not ѕay thеy are very different animals? The Diemos is a a great close range DPS boat but cant really hold much of a tank. The Zealot has a decent tank and works well at medium ranges where the diemos would simply get raped.

Now was that succinct enough for you or do you want it in sentance form so your short term ADD personality can more easily comprehend?

prefer fighting outnumbered? hmm... never said I did... did you perhaps pull that from another application? but to answer your question I cannot justify undergunning a ship and fighting outnumbered unless its the ishtar setup that we've used for a while. But then its a sentry drone setup not a turret setup.

why not micromanage? sure, I can... and as I said before with regard to the particular module u inquired about. the large cap booster provides more cap over the duration of the boosters load than a medium could ever hope to. med = 1 cycle per 12 secs (if memory serves) same as the large. The large t2 can fit 5x 800's and therefore does not have to cycle its load as often to provide the same amount of cap hence keeping you ready to RR far more than a medium would allow.

You call it a sheep, but apparently you haven't read my app as well as you think you have. I go to school and work full time in addition to taking care of various family members who would otherwise be unable to care for themselves (not in my app). I get only a few hours each week to REALLY play, so it would be no wonder that I cannot afford the time to KNОW thе game nearly as well as you do. Kudos to you if you do. I jump on and try to help out when and where I can‚ sometimes this amounts to not really being able to play at all because nobody else is on. If this evestyle is unnacceptable to you then say so now and I'll take my happy ass somewhere else. Anything else you would like to know?
