I'll post in this thread since I'm suggesting a very similar setup. This is more about optimizing our general-purpose rush setup than actually introducing something completely new. Lots of (slightly nitpicky) text incoming but I think it's worth debating the rush team until we have the best one possible.
My variation of this setup does 5263 dps, and the slowest ship goes 1677m/s (2407 overloaded).
I'll list the changes I propose in order of significance and explain my reasoning:
1) MWD on the Scimi instead of a AB - I feel the MWD is necessary for two reasons.
The first we discovered during the second test run between my original rush team and Creyn's rush team. We experimented with putting an AB on the scimi and it was promptly run down and killed first by the other team. With just the AB, the scimi is in danger from plenty of close range MWDing ships from minmatar and gallente rush teams and even vindicator teams.
Secondly the MWD allows the Scimi to advance along with the rest of the team against damping teams that warp in at range and attempt to kite. The range of the scimi's reps would normally compensate for the low speed but against a damp team the scimi must be able to get to within 20-30km of the team and this is simply not possible with an AB.
2) Removal of ECCM on the Sleipnirs and Claymore - I think that ECM teams are already the strong suit of this team, and that the ECCM on the Scimi along with the Sensor Integrity link provides more than enough sensor strength. Those midslots could be put to better use as extra tank on the Sleips and ewar on the Claymore, to help the team against opponents that it might have trouble with. This one is easy to test. We simply run my variation against a few worst case scenario ecm teams. If we demonstrate that this version already beats ecm teams, we can agree that the ECCM is not needed. If there are viable ECM teams that beat my variation, then we should strongly consider going with the ECCM in Creyn's setup.
3) Tracking disruptors on the Claymore - I put two tracking disruptors on the Claymore instead of the second Invul and ECCM on Creyn's setup. I think the tracking disruptors give the team the slight edge it needs if it goes up against other rush teams, while also helping significantly against the Bhaalgorn/Vindicator setups that might give rush teams trouble. The tradeoff is the loss of the ECCM and some tank, but I feel that the already significant tank on the Claymore combined with the fact that most opponents will consider the Sleips to be an easier target means that we can afford to put the ewar on.
4) Triple web Huginn - This is one I'm less sure about, and I think we should get as many opinions as possible. I think that the extra long range web provides a lot of help against two teams that might be able to beat this one (other rush teams and long range teams that attempt to spread out and make us waste time catching them). The Huginn does lose a lot of tank though, so in cases where it can't range tank this could hurt. I also like the extra cap and shields given by PDUs over the 60dps added by the BCUs and I think this is one case where 5% shield implants help more than 5% missile damage.
5) Named MWDs - Since most of these ships will be running their MWDs a lot and not using much cap for anything else named MWDs with the lower cap use are better. Small change but could make the difference against a curse team.
6) Falloff rigs instead of shield hp rigs on most ships - I think this is a fairly clear advantage since on the dps ships falloff is of extreme importance. Falloff is a range bonus and a damage bonus rolled up into one and is the most important single stat on the Sleips imo. It's a small thing but I'd take 5% falloff over 5% shields any day.
