Had we gotten the titan/SCs, I'd make this intro longer, but I borrowed the character Skrypt from the original owner and got into CoW. They're fucking terrible, fyi. The first day I joined they'd used a shitload of SC's to hotdrop a couple BANE moms. They announced another similar op for last friday, and I relayed the info to Shamis and Shadoo. They were both busy with prostate exams and crying babies. So, I hit up Fintroll and it was on.
4 days of planning later, we were ready. The day of the op was pretty hectic. I was working from my office, so I didnt have my mic and had to rely on irc convos with fintroll... which causes problems. For a while, it appeared like we weren't going to get ANYTHING. They looked like they'd be going through a different system than the one fintroll had rf'd. Shortly after, they announced that they'd bridge support and carriers into ubtes (our trap system), then bridge the support to podion (their staging system). Well, this is where a mic would've been ideal, but somehow Fintroll checked the jumpplanner and told me I was stupid, and they'd not bring a titan to ubtes. (turns out, Fintroll must've mis-typed it into the jumpplanner, because that's what they were gonna do).
So, Fintroll decided that we didn't form up a 100 man fleet for nothing and that we were going to drop their carriers at least. Оp Succеss. But we (Fintroll and I) made a couple mistakes that may have netted us a couple supercap kills.
respekt knuckles to fintroll for organizing... this won't be the last time we do this‚ but I gave the real Skrypt back to the owner.... he'll have ѕomе explaining to do if he comes back to play full time.
