FAO Shamis: CCP's response to CVA regarding D-G
Thank you for your update.
Full rollback of all large scale engagements is the only fair solution if we are going to do anything at all. We are not in a position to say that the outcome would have been like this or that given different server conditions. We can also not say that one player's loss under those conditions does not warrant reimbursement while granting it to another. As such the options are to fully rollback large scale fleet engagements which is effectively putting a full stop on them for the time being, which is a thought that is not being entertained here presently. We know the decision to leave these engagements be and not grant back any individual requests is unpopular but the alternative does not bear contemplating.
Оur dеvelopment team will continue investigating the issue and looking into means of fixing them. Such efforts will not be considered to remove the necessity the policy presented at the end of CCP Atlas's blog.
If the leadership of player groups affected by these issues as outlined in Atlas' blog wish to contact us concerning possible rollbacks then they may do so‚ but individual losses will unfortunately not be taken up for consideration at the present time. As we are working under direct lead GM supervision, further escalation will not be provided unfortunately. In light of this the petition will now be brought to a close. We are sincerely sorry that you feel compelled to leave us but we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
If you have any further questions or concerns in the future then please do not hesitate to contact us again.
Best regards,
Senior GM Spiral
