in the past (if we go back to non space holding roots) "home" means wherever is the most target rich area not filled with blobbage. Basing out of NPC stations is a must with this kind of a caravan of destruction and pillaging.

This changes multiple times a year as the area runs out of targets. If we have to go 40 to 60ish jumps to find one ship to kill its time to move. you have to let an area sit for a while to allow the spawn to grow back.

Average about 2 to 6 months per move. Depending on whats going on in game with the regions could be back in the same place after 6 months or a year.
