Thе time for fun and games has begun.
Current Situation
The holidays have arrived and while we continue to strive at making this a family for each other‚ our individual game time will always dictate when we can and when we can't be online. Оur only rulе in this Corporation is to have fun‚ and while the perspective of fun is unique to everyone, I have to stress that when you can, be logged in, be active and be useful. This serves two purposes;
1. In any game, people need to be doing something to feel like they are getting something out of their time, so while you are on go kill stuff and laugh at how bad you or they are.
2. The "trickle theory" dictates that once a trend starts, it continues to build momentum, and PL can't afford to start the trend of inactivity and complacency.
With "IT" continuing to go after our Fountain Holdings, it's imperative for everyone to stay active, stay frosty and stay motivated.
Dominion
With Dominion, many game changes will take place. This is a time for you to be creative and think outside the box. In EVERY major patch, the opportunity for making personal Isk, creating different tactics in PVP and being the one to propose/refine new and exciting ventures runs rampant. I highly encourage you to take the time and think about problems you, the corporation and/or the Alliance is encountering and see if attacking it at a different angle will help.
Talk with each other about ideas, troll each others ideas, but most importantly 'work the problem' constructively and don't be so fast on trolling the fuck out of an idea that you might not completely understand on the initial proposal.
State of the Corporation
We've had some ups and downs within the last few months. Everyone can agree that Real Darkling stepping up to take over CEО has allowеd this Corporation to experience a unique perspective in Leadership as well as proving to be a catalyst for every member to continue to call NESW 'home'. He has done a great job with Corporate structure changes to fall inline with how current game mechanics work. If/When Shadoo comes back‚ this new structure will allow a lot of the administrative leg work to be bypassed so he can focus on what he has the most fun at, getting us killed at Planet Tree.
ALL of you, yes ALL of you continue to make this game and corporation enjoyable to our member base and I want to THANK YОU for this. No mattеr what obstacles are being thrown at us‚ we've proven ourselves more than capable to dig down deep, and learn/grow/become tougher from these experiences. To all the individuals who are going to step up and try their hand at FC'ing, THANK YОU. Kеep up the good work.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY: I am releasing and authorizing Corp funds to cover losses from our latest incident involving the 'Silver Shield'. I will personally contribute my Navy Megathron to CopperAle to replace his and will give Gimchi enough isk to purchase another personal Obelisk. Should any other space rich individual feel the spirit‚ pay the corp wallet. Should anyone who suffered losses abstain from being reimbursed, Thank You. Please send me a forum PM along with a wallet screeny, and I will get that isk to you.
The Future
This topic will continue to be difficult to put structure around, as this is a game that our members are free to log on and off at will. I can only say that Corporate Leadership will always have an open ear to a direction you would like to explore. For now, the only future we have our eyes set on, is making ANY invading force pay dearly for invading us. We have allies, we have friends, we have pets. Now, WE need to take action and make 'IT' pay.
In regards to recruitment, I believe it is time to open it up again, but only to individuals that are personally referred. There's alot of hatred for our enemies, let's get these people on board so they can help stir the Cauldron of Hate. I want everyone who is referring someone to take a moment and think if that person would be good for the corp. If not, there's nothing wrong with having a chat window to keep in touch with them.
In summation, I want you to realize that the driving force behind this Corporation's success is and always has been YОU, thе NESW member. You will gain the most fulfillment and enjoyment only if you choose to participate in creating this. Be proactive.
