[BOB] Delve War Update #2 02-06-2009

Read through the thread we had for our time in the North‚ and it's an awesome way for those working to keep track of what is happening in and around Delve/Querious over the coming weeks. Please try to keep it somewhat updated.
Major engagements, dropped hostile towers. Destroyed hostile towers. Sov levels changing hands / changing level etc.
I shouldn't need to say it, but obviously don't post anything here that is potentially 'classified'.
Some glue to this would be awesome <3

KIA / Ethereal Dawn fleet decimated in 1-N. KIA thought it a good idea to siege 1-N towers with a handful of capitals

Use the above as a time reference‚ as there's no fleet listed.
5 Caps, ~24 BS down.

This isn't just something for me to update‚ lazy bastards.
Pitch in and lend a hand.
Yesterday:
Various (I believe all, confirm?) PОSеs saved throughout Delve/PB‚ including the CSAA PОS in J-L.
Local sat at just ovеr 600 before hostiles jumped into J-L‚ and bloomed to 1100 when they arrived.
I only actually managed to get into a fight after it had been raging for a couple of hours. Warped in, picked a can, warped out whilst bookmarking it, then returned to toy with PL's Battleship fleet.
Charged through them in my Devoter, and ... survived \o/. Spent about 20-30 minutes amongst their fleet, before relogging to disable my bubble (modules wouldn't disable) so I could warp out/repair/return to bubble more. Didn't quite work as planned, due to lag/loading times etc, but I managed to get back into the fight later, on the F-T gate:

Engaged RAZOR et-al in F-T and chased through to J-L where some sterling work by our dictor guys saw the fleet bubbled at a planet for a fish-in-a-barrel shooty fest.
Time reference: http://www.killboard.net/details/302920/
D-3 POS saved.
Lots of SFShootme-led flyby in FT saw the destruction of many enemy ships including notably a fleet warpin to kill a hawk.

WTF??!! Apocs ftw.
Trip out led by Waagaa and stopped off through YZ9 where we gained another engagement but by this time it was getting late and fleet was down to 60(ish) with 250+ in local.
Time reference: http://www.killboard.net/details/303177/
I ended my night logged in PR- at 03:30 and 2.5 hours to spare before work today.
gg all.

after trying to use our small ustz fleet to reinforce the tower and failing, luciender and rkk leadership decided to drop dreads on the tower and reinforce it. so, 6 rkk dread pilots got in their dreads, insured them (lol) and got in space and waited for a cyno. in goon primetime, we dropped 6 dreads on our own tower, approached to 27k, and dropped into siege.
we didn't expect any of the dreads to survive.
goons came in and started shooting the dreads. the tower went into reinforced, our dreads started shooting the goon/pl bs fleet that was ~160k off our dreads. our support and bs began bumping our dreads into the shields.
all six dreads were successfully bumbed into the shield, while losing only 5 bob ships. epic win as the cap array now comes out much closer to our prime, great coordination from all involved.
epic props to seijen!

I was there last night, and I think he was bumped outside the PОS and bubblеd. So it is not like we lost him in combat.
I thought about this last night and‚ decided that the loss of the Titan really does not effect my mood what so ever. If anything I am now more committed, because of the way Goons behave.
Besides we are getting a shit ton of fights.

I was there last night and saw Molle get bumped out on the opposite side of the pos. Frigates and recons came screaming in all at once and scooped him out pretty far. Not a whole lot that could have been done after that.
I kept shooting at the hics and jamming cruisers I could find on overview from the flood of reds; waiting for the DD to come and clear us all out of there. It didn't come.
Still had a great time. Everyone lost ships last night. Need moar megas!

This is going to be a long war and I am excited as hell about the fights to come!

Small frigates had been constantly warping to my cyno throughout the entire fight in 8wa. Occasionally I could lock them and kill them with my rapier. At least 2 merlins were sitting on me right when molle jumped in‚ and they didn't so much as bump him, as sit in the way and keep him from moving into the shield. Molle also got fucked by the positioning of the ship after the jump. He was pretty much as far as you can be from the shield, and had to go right through me to get to safety. So not only were the frigates sitting at zero on him, he also had to push me out of the way.
He smart bombed the first few frigates on him, but then their whole fleet showed up, more cynos were lit, and the dreads dropped on us.
As thol would say, "buttfucked."
