The thing though in eve is that T2 BPOs will not depreciate in value... If anything they will probably appreciate as they go inactive‚ die, or go 100% to personal use and product never hits market. I doubt prices of the T2 ships will ever drop much. So you cant really talk about 'breaking even' in the RL sense because everything you make helps you and every bit of profit you make is actually profit. When you actually want to 'break even' you just sell the asset for near if not more than what you paid for it. So what really needs to be looked at is convenience to the alliance and whether or not it will help in the long run. I personally think getting some useful T2 BPОs could bе a great way to spend extra jewgold.

That's not true at all. T2 BPO values change every major patch when CCP nerfs or buffs a ship. The Nemesis BPO for sale now‚ for example, is worth far more than it was before the buff for Stealth Bombers. Even T2 module BPОs vary grеatly in value from one patch to the next. There is no guarantee that a T2 BPO bought now will retain its value a year from now. There is also no guarantee that CCP will not remove them in the future.
You can't even be sure that CCP won't remove T2 BPOs completely.
