Because it was the best (worst) day yet, I will give you a detailed update on what happened to day in our fight for m0o:

Goons petitioned our tower at 6-1 (scheduled to come out of reinforced today at 1432) last night. The hardeners were still online even though it was reinforced. So, the GM took care of that problem for Goons, removed all the hardeners. I didn't know of that yet.

Myself, I leave work at 1100, taking work with me and promising to have it done til tomorrow, so I can be there for the tower op. I come home and hour before dt and have to realize that in their endless wisdom CCP put all 17 hardener arrays into the cargohold of my absolution and then moved my absolution from our tower into a random safespot in 49-. Which means I am hopelessly overloaded and can't move. So I am a little pissed and petition, which results in getting the hardeners moved into station after dt so I can fly around again.

I make my way to m0o, only to see that for some reason the tower still has more than 5h of reinforce timer? Funnily enough i have local chatlogs from when the goons sieged the tower and complained about the timer at 0932 (2d5h). So 1432 was the correct timer.

Petition time again!

After an hour of petition ping pong the official reply is that the tower was reinforced at 2316 last night and the timer is correct. Sooo I escalate (because even the goon gang that showed up by now to kill it said the timer was wrong) and get a notice that they are further investigating.

Investigation takes too long. It's after 1800 my time, I still haven't done any work at all (and took home quite a bit to be allowed to leave after 3h in office!) and there is no replies. So I sign off to get some work done.

Оnly to bе pinged on IRC by Draco a bit later because a GM tried to convo him three times: The GM said it was accidently onlined last night‚ we supposedly put in stront, which ofc was illegal, and therefore it was put back into reinforced. Now he corrected the mistake and its online out of reinforced again, but without stront! Soo, now we have an unrepped tower, the GBC fleet was just retired because nothing was supposed to happen until later and I was supposed to be offline and working for a few hours already. We try to scramble, I get some my triage carrier there and we ping IRC for more carriers, but no results for 2 triage cycles, the tower is at 40% when a random MM scout finds the tower out of reinforced and calls in help. By that time we got a few more people and GBC fleet is reassembling, but it's too late, hostiles bring in 170 people and set up titan traps, while our side has 50 (because fleet was just sent afk).

The tower dies, CCP wins!

God damn .. how frustrating.
Letting down rl in favor of pos war shows real commitment.

In over 3 years of playing eve I don't believe I've ever heard of anyone getting a satisfactory outcome via a GM. Fact: if the answer is a GM, then question must of been "what's less use than a chocolate teapot?"

This game is getting worse and worse and they’re answer to solving problems is by introducing new fancy shiny things to draw us away from the real issues.

2 (maybe 3?) days ago 2 towers were bugged after dt. shield was set to 25% however it was used to be at 100%.
i petitioned and ccp failed to fix the towers and the got bugged. (tower could not be killed or/and boosted anymore) so they moved me without telling me to m0o (yea was pretty funny‚ was sitting in 49 and when i returned from my toilet break i found my dread in m0o :lol: )
the tower was already removed at that time and i redeployed it with them.

tower/sov warefare if realy fun, especialy not atm. no clue if i typed it already on forums but i am currently spending quiet some time every day with some bob guys (mostly nilie) and we are exchanging "stupid gm replys" each other. it's realy poor that we have to "waste" our times that way as there would realy more important stuff to do right now, but..
