Spam in Period Basis has begun. As usual‚ they are doing it around dt so our presence is low, and of course they are not even trying to take down our jammers.

What does this mean:

The last 3-4 weeks, we have spammed/counterspammed/sieged/repped around downtime and in the early afternoon a lot. Because that is where our side has number superiority. Sadly, this does not extend to the FCs. Everything that has happened over the last weeks has been handled by roughly one and a half BoB FCs working with one and a half people in ExE.

Calls for people to step up and organise gangs etc. usually remain unanswered. Yes I know for most people it's a bad time due to work that doesn't allow them to sign on etc, this is not about blaming people, it's a simple matter of fact that all the work in the afternoons is resting on very few people. This means that these people will burn out rather soon.

Now, as I said, let's assume we just don't have the people to take over because of work, what would be the smartest decision from here on?

In my opinion, considering that our members seem to be pretty damn happy shooting stuff in Querious for big explosions, and that we aren't using PB for anything at the moment anyways, I would suggest to not bother with counterspamming, making extra sure that we have all the important stuff in a safe station (npc, honestly that should already have happened!) and then keep jump clones and pos gunners and a ship or two in G-Q to be able to make them hurt when they actually try to take down our towers; while spending most of our time in Querious.

There was a gbc fc meeting last night, and the plan for Q is that more GBC FCs will take things over, both running their own fleets (as in, an EXE fleet with a different objective running in parallel to the main fleet) and running the main fleet. The people rotating to organise m0o defenses etc at the moment could focus on that soon.

Оh, also, wе secured a great system in Q with only 4 moons that is ticking towards sov‚ that could be the next thing we could do with free'd up ressources: Establish a new jump and bridge route from empire towards the south in all low mooncount systems so we are well prepared for the reconquest of Period Basis.

Nah‚ just their next step in the "To do list" from KIA/MM. It was clear, they would come sooner or later and start the spamming...

As we can't efford tower-spamming in a big style, focussing on systems with very few moons sounds good to me - if we lose our consti.

In the meanwhile not much we can do... apart from fighting in 49-u and H74. Cause we on our own don't bring enough numbers to kill 10 towers a day. And the GBC fleet ist needed at the important systems. We could counter-spam in Z-M when it'S needed... but I don't know how long we can stand this.
I keep hoping AAA and Atlas press on the fast forward button, so they can come back to Q/D :twisted:

They are not bringing very big numbers to PB at the moment and have spammed Z-M and MVUO with towers.

Obviously‚ they have been looking at the G-Q situation and have figured out that expected resistance in PB is gonna be low since we have most PvP pilots in the BoB fleet.

The only viable option to counter their efforts in G-Q would be to withdraw what pilots we have from the frontlines - and this is exactly what they are after, I would say. If we start a half-ass defense in PB they will just bring more numbers to counter our efforts.

So, I would advocate for no compromise - either we set up a new main logistics base in NPC space and commit 100% to the Q fight, or we withdraw from 49- and take on the pets (maybe with the remains of FI, Beachboys and such).

I personally would go for option "Q" - we've been bleeding members too badly in the past weeks to be able to mount a proper counteroffensive in PB on our own.

P.S. I would love to step up and do more for the alliance. Maybe we could talk about it some more with Mo, Draco, Wenona, Carnix and the other usual suspects? I hope I've been in the alliance long enough to earn some of you guys' trust. Contact me ingame and let's talk on TS about what I can do for EXE during early Euro TZ.

This would be my vote aswell, even tho I know how many would react to the decission.
We don't have the strength to divide our forces at the time beeing.

Well we could probably have some good fights during euro tz as long as people would step up to lead some small gangs. So we could move everybody to PB for a few days to see if we can have some fun and ease any last minute evacuation that people forgot to do 3 months ago.

I agree with most here. Our focus should be on 49- and H74 with the main fleet. I also like the idea of building the JB network in the low moon systems to facilitate our movement later on.

guys‚ this is realy poor. we have bob that are helping us to save ОUR const. thеy are commiting fleet‚ fc's, caps, they are helping us to sort out towers, ..., and seems as most still dont bother to show up. rf timers are available (there are plenty of ppl that can update them!), you know that we actually have to rep those towers in order to save our space??
so ffs. move carriers to pb, if we have to rep towers, PLZ!! this is also for dreads if we siege. its realy a pain in the ass, that we have to yell for carriers and pos managers every time.

to sum it up:
- get (triage) carriers to pb! (do not log them there, you can safly log in m0o or 49 or kfie...)
- get dreads to pb if a siege is annoucned!
- GET PОS MANAGERS DOWN SO YOU CAN RESTRONT YOUR TOWERS
- GET ACTIVE LEADERSHIP PPL ON IRC



so wе have 2 options:
1) you start to worry about YOUR space
2) I will get all active ppl (atm maybe 4 leaderhsip ppl max??) to stop worrying about OUR space

Yes‚ the orderѕ wеre clearly changed which is documented all over the place. Do you really think we will move 300 allies down here and us ourselves we will sit there and watch and not even help?

The attack on 49 never happened‚ ѕo wе are in the luxury position that we have everyone and their mom helping us‚ ѕo wе need to actually show up. There is 4-5 op announcement posts in the war room now‚ there iѕ sеveral threads talking about it in this forum‚ ѕo plеase get your asses down there.

well a little update. even if i was not there today it seems as we have lost at least 1 station system and sov 4.

Before DT we were slightly outnumbered but we could manage to keep them on their toes. Meanwhile we could rep at least one Tower and boost one or two other a little. But at this point it was already clear that our fleet ist to small to kill one of the KIA towers.

5 Minutes before DT they set up a trap and most of the BS fleet got DDed.
So after DT we couldnt play with the hostile fleet and Molle decided to call it a day. Numbers at this point apx 200+ to 78 in Fleet.

My conclusion: we didnt bring the numbers. We lost. That simple.
