IRC PandemicNet?

from anderѕ thrеad i wanted to talk about the irc idea. I have been reading up on newer versions of ircd server software and i cannot really decide what ircd software is the best. Without the experience of running or installing one previously.

So here are what i can find are the best types out there running right now.

ircd-hybrid - http://www.ircd-hybrid.org/
hybrid 6 because everyone is having random issues with 7

ircd-ratbox - http://www.ircd-ratbox.org/

I find myself leaning towards ratbox because of the popularity. Anyone have any ideas or words of wisdom?

also what do you think of the name. PandemicNet

We ѕhould probably sеtup a jabber. As having an IRC net is just meh. We can use a big one instead for that.

Well pm me if you want me to admin the member list. I was putting in a half an hour a day reading the exe forums. But that's a waste of time. They don't seem to put any juicy stuff up there anymore.
