EXE: Justifying MAXIMUM FAIL 2008-08-09

As of today the MAX campaign is one month old. Here is a link to the campaign stats on the killboard;

As you can see the damage is indeed impressive‚ especially when you take into account all the pos etc we have killed which are not on there.

More impressive to me however is the losses colum. Thanks to NCs doomsday+carrier blob in a cyno jammed system tactics, they have been high. to date in MAX we have lost 218 battleships, 256 t2 cruisers/bc, 74 t1 cruisers/bc, 143 t2 frigs/destroyers, 15 t1 frigs/destroyers, 2 Dreadnaughts and a jump freighter. The vast vast majority of these ships are t2 fitted and many are rigged. That is one single month.

The point i am trying to make is that we are not remotely phased by these losses. Participation remains high, especially in important seige ops. We have retained numbers better than anyone else in the GBC except perhaps for BoB. In the first ops we had about 115 people from 800+, these days we have 70+ people from 300. I have not seen a single person complain of being stuck seiging pos far from home or running out of isk. I know of a great many alliances in eve who would simply implode under that sort of pressure, never mind continue to campaign with such intensity on the other side of Eve.

As such EXE i salute you, keep up the good work and know that the chances of us ever receiving losses like that again are rather slim. They have given it their best shot with all the advantages being the defender has in eve and we haven't really felt it. Here is hoping the second month of MAX can be as epic as the first.
