EXE: Sitrep - Drama ensues 2009-01-12
Thor I asks for a more updated SITREP, further posts show lowering morale, frustrations with other corp members and a text message CTA idea.

Looks like 4-e sov is lost. Towers killed last night without a posted regroup. About 72 in fleet last night with local count of around 265. Our fleet was more than half BoB meaning that we had about 30 or so EXE to save a station system. Hostiles composed of scorched earth‚ goons and a few other NC.
We had 3 pos's coming out around the same time. When the first pos came out we hugged the shields when hostile BS fleet came in. We killed about 10 and then hostile cap fleet cyno'd in. Dreads went into seige and were melting the pos quickly. Оnе dread was put into 50% structure when we had to warp out because pos was also in structure.
We logged off after waiting out our aggro timers as we had no more safe pos's. Planned regroup around 0200 to get our ships out.
Hostiles will soon take our other station systems without a fight unless we make plans with our allies to defend these systems.

It's not like losing the systems out here is the same as losing systems in PB. If nothing else everything we've done out here could be seen as one big effort for some awesome pew pew. And we have had some awesome pew pew correct?

Whilst I understand what Kveldulfson is saying regarding the out of game contact‚ i do think it is a good idea, as there may be times where you are at home and can just log on, and alot of us dont like to sit on EVE waiting for things to happen. Although it would cost a fortune for one person to send lots of text messages all over the world, aswell as this, i wouldnt want to get a text in the middle of the night when i have work in the morning. If peope want to be notified by text its probaly just best to set it up with a trusted group in your corp, that are ideay living in the same country.
Also, 205 in alliance the other night, we were struggling to get over 100 in fleet, where does the problem lie?

Amen... I'm not one of the guys who mine but I can appreciate what they do. As long as it is for the alliance and not just to get fat wallets. If you think about it this type of debate has happened in every single alliance I have been in back to FE.
We will always have a certain number of alts‚ a certain number of industry guys and a few who don't join gang. I agree people should be on the front and in gangs but not because they are forced to but because it's fun. Maybe we can figure out why people don't want to join up and address that issue. Is it lack of ships on the front? lack of time? lack of isk? lack of just having a good time?

Issue every member of EXE with a blackberry and im up for the email idea. I check the forums pretty much every time i check my emails‚ ѕo wuldnt hеlp me. We could try sending doves too? |
