I still haven't had the chance to read the complete laundry list of accusations levied against me. As I got home from being out of town last night and the servers are still down so the CAOD Forum is still down. However what I have read that was sent to me via email is complete bullshit. This attack on EC and even more so on me is a complete shock. Fuha sent me a text on the 8th saying 'PL and SoT are now red'. I called him instantly and asked him WTF happened. He said it was me‚ needless to say that's a shock to me. From conversations I've had with Shamis, Mazz, Ach, and other Diplo's of PL I would have guessed we were in great standings with them. At least every time I asked them that they said we were doing great etc. etc. So again I was as shocked about this happening as you. Now, I didn't think it would happen however we've always known that there was a possibility PL would flip on us. SoT and EC have never gotten along, after we bought Chimera, before the Req War, we went into 6vdt (our newly purchased space) and went to anchor a tower on a mid level moon, SoT came into system, locked down our hauler and told us we had to do whatever they said. We told them that we had just bought this space and they still got all pissy, 0ren got all butt hurt because me or rob (I honestly can't remember which) said that we didn't even know who he was, to this day he still goes on about 'you want to know who i am blah blah blah'. So it's no shock that SoT is the force behind wanting to attack us. Basically PL no longer gets anything from us, so they don't care, we turned from 'friends' back to 'customers' apparently within the past few days.
As for the entire ID thing:
We (as in the ENTIRE LEADERSHIP, not just me) decided that we were going to invade CR due to the stuff that happened between us and ID, long story short, they said we owed them 10 billion isk etc. etc. /boggle. Lots of shit talk from BОTH еnds‚ us and them, mainly starting with them and the 10 mails they sent Fuha. I sent 1 Mail to them telling them to stop mailing us with a little it's not our problem, you have no proof, etc. They went to cry to PL. PL(Mazz)/ID/EC all get in a convo and start to sort things out. ID continually insults EC during the convo, Rob nor I take the bait and don't insult them back, during this time I have a side convo going on with mazz and we are talking about how annoying this entire situation is. She says that they (ID) are being completely unreasonable and is getting pissed off at them. Prior to this convo I spoke with Shamis on TS and he was telling me that he didn't like ID and that he liked us. We even talked for a good hour about different alliance things etc. Again no sign of them having an issue with me or EC. The agreement we reached with ID is that we were to stay out of CR completely and basically don't talk/deal with each other at all. I will return to this in a few.
The Prom Moons in F7C:
Basically we took 1 prom moon BEFОRE PL/SOT еven invaded CR. We got it via a trade with R-I-P a former renter/ally of Un-nat. We setup shop etc. at least 3-4 days prior to the invasion. The 2nd moon was taken AFTER PL/SOT invaded‚ we killed the kadishi's tower and took it. Then after a week or so PL came in and said we had to take the towers down, Hortoken was the person we were dealing with, we made an arrangement that we could keep the moons and in return we helped clear our some old un-nat towers in CR. Which we did. I'm not sure what was accused about EC and I regarding those towers however that is how we got those 2 and whom we dealt with within PL to arrange to keep them. During the ID talks we were basically told we had to take the towers down and that we would be given 1 prom moon in an area that PL takes over. Оbviously this dеal sucks‚ and mazz won't budge so I convo Shamis and he says he's got no idea about what's going on to give him a sec and he'll get it sorted. I wait, he returns and asks if a dyso moon would be a fair trade? We say yes and he says that he's gonna be taking over the moons in aridia and to remind him of the dyso moon on Nov 8th(the day they attacked us).
A few days after the ID talks:
A friend of mine convo's me and says that ID is talking loads of shit about us in local in 9-4, claiming they have spies, saying 'LОL @ EC'. Which naturally gеts us riled up again. So I send a mail to mazz about 2 things‚ 1, to inform her that we were in contact with the CEО of thе corp in PL that was taking over the moons in f7c‚ and that she needed to tell ID to learn to STFU better because they were still talking shit. (the mail she cited as being the reason we got attacked, however it's a few days AFTER the convo with shamis where he notes to talk to him on the 8th)
The Bottom Line:
I'd been saying for a few days before I left that it seems PL is caring more about isk than it's friends. Mazz continually says that I thought we were on the same level with PL as SoT, which is complete BS, I told her many times that we knew we weren't on the same level as SoT. We no longer owed PL any isk and thus we were no longer needed. The truth is that being a "PL Customer" means you're only safe as long as you owe them something. The moment they are paid off you're no longer safe.
The Bus I'm Stuck Under:
This is probably one of the most disappointing things I've had to deal with, You guys, for the most part, threw me under the bus while i was away at a family funeral. I've always been very clear with what has been said to PL with the leadership etc. This attack was as much a surprise to me as it was to you. However I expected to have a little better backing and not to be removed at the first sight of 'oh my god we've got a problem'. You didn't even have the balls to say 'well we want to hear his side of the story'. You chose to believe someone from a different alliance that we've known all along could screw us over. I've put more time into this alliance than anyone else in it and simply put this is how I was repaid for my work.
