How does one go about getting a Titan fund in a large corp filled with experienced pilots? I know -- let's donate RL money and GTC it .

Ok‚ we've talked way too much about it, now is the time to start planning and working towards getting 2 Titans. Myself and James both have Titan ready characters. We're looking at getting an Erebus for James and an Avatar for myself.

Sacul has researched Avatar BPО. Hе's already sold a copy on the forums for 10 billion. We might be able to get a copy from him for a good price‚ say 5 billion for an Avatar BPC.

As for an Erebus BPО, thе only person I know who owns one is Seleene. We could ask him and see if he'd be willing to make us a copy for 5 billion as well.

You add in approximately 25 billion isk in mods to each Titan (Officer Smartbombs‚ Оfficеr Cap Rechargers‚ Deadspace-Complex Hardeners, etc...)


Avatar: 52.679 billion (Cost of Capital Component Package) + 5 billion (Avatar BPC) + 25 billion (Fittings) = 82.679 billion

Erebus: 53.075 billion (Cost of Capital Component Package) + 5 billion (Erebus BPC) + 25 billion (Fittings) = 83.075 billion

Grand Total of 165.754 Billion isk for both Titans.

How can we raise this money??? I need Ideas and suggestions???

I've got 20b in my wallet ready to go for this fund.

Rest is corp mining ops‚ corp ratting ops, corp donations, Mines selling his ass on the street, I can start selling some assets which could add 5b or so. GTC sales but I won't be able to do that after Fanfest and I know where I stand :P

We could scam people, we could see about getting high end moons, although in either 0.0 or empire would be hard cause we are needed on the line with Tri, which is what's probably gonna be the most difficult about this part, doing that stuff without loosing our combat readyniss.

I have an opportunity to purchase someone's characters and all their assets. It'll cost me roughly $1800 bucks to buy the 3 characters (60mil SP range) with 10-20 billion in assets and also comes with 2x T2 BPOs (BCU II and Shield Power Relay II). I figure if everything was liquidated‚ we could easily raise 80 billion from selling the characters and assets. Do you think we could raise that money? If we had 90 people donate $20 we could do it or have 60 people donate $30. It's not that much money when you think of it when it's distributed amongst a lot of people. $20-$30 bucks, I think people wouldn't have a problem with that... what do the rest of you think?

I think people might, but I would expect <50% to actually go through with it.
Is it better value to spend 1800 on the toons, or through gtc? My head aches to much to work it out.

Not to derail the thread, but thanks for reminding me. It's on my "to do" list. I will do this tonight.

If you took $1800 and spent it on GTCs you'd only make about 25 billion from it. Each GTC costs $35 US. Divind 1800 by 35 and you get approximately 50 GTCs from it. Each GTC sells for approximately 500 million isk. 50 multiplied by 500 million equals 25 billion.

If we spent the $1800 on my deal we'd easily get 80 Billion from it. I would get approximately 15-20 billion for each character. Each T2 BPО could potеntially net us 10-20 billion each. That's 80 billion right there. Not counting all the other assets on the characters.

Yeah I missed Alex's poast. Love the way they're lining up to break the rules with not a peep of "hey guys isn't that cheating?".
