What i have noticed is that we are getting a couple of unneeded losses to our lovely goon members that have entered our locals. Now i have been trying something on killing them, that i have used on multiple occasions against nanos.

Now, the idea that i have is to use a combination of: Snipers, arazus and rapiers.

The idea is very easy, and anyone could have thought of it. You get someone in a glorified tank to play bait in the belts. I used a nighthawk last time, did magic against the apocs. You have the recons follow the bait around the belts at 20ish. They should not move as they then could uncloak each other and spoil the trap.

When the bait gets attacked by the apocs and rapiers you want a arazu and rapier to get close to it, as they always come in together. The other rapiers and arazus will have to stay close to the bait to web the other rapiers/curses etc that come in close. You get the sniper to come in at 0 on the bait and then start pounding the rapiers as they will run away to long range when things warp in. This is of course the moment you get friendly recons the time to uncloak and web whatever is close. this gives the snipers ample opportunity to kill the enemy recons as they are slow moving, tackled sitting ducks. From there on you kill the apocs.

This of course doesn't mean other ships don't work. But short range is 100% out of the question. What of course helps is to have 1 dedicated amarr jamming falcon sitting close to the apocs and jam them out with 3 to 4 racials each. THis to stop our own recons getting popped by their apocs.

I doubt you will ever get a gang this perfectly organized, and it will probably never go as perfectly as said above, but it is a easy, reasonably failsafe way to kill the goons. and i would hope that we can get 15 - 25 man gangs in our own HQ space down for killing them, and we are all experienced pilots in this alliance so getting the ships needed shall not be the largest challenge. The largest challenge will be having a FC that is making the right choices.

I have also heard of the option of rapiers, falcons and nano damage dealers. That would work as well of course, just needs a different approach and a good bait of course. same idea as above, just need to use the recons as warp in point for the damage dealers, instead of using the bait.

Bubbeling up the XZH gate, camping and cleaning out the system, and frm there on cleaning up g8 and 9-4 is another option, and would require the sniper and recons tactic. Strategicly place the recons so they can warp to each other and placed around the gate so they can catch the goons from any place they come as they do have Bm's around all the gates.

Now, this is just a general idea that i would like to use, and i know the use of snipers against nanos is something that i have heard is something that meets some resistance, so i hope that you all as ceos and dirs have a open mind for this.

So lets the hear the commentary and ideas to improve this idea, as i want those goonies gone from our HОME.
