Well I've only been back a week or so actually in game properly and although I had some bad imperssions of some members of the alliance.. actually having flown with them has changed my mind.. It is quiet on the US TZ and the goons are stopping people being able to fund their pvp (not everyone has POS earning isk etc) I personally have less than 1mil after investing in my dread.

What exactly are people complaining about?? Lack of targets?? I flew back from the POS that was under attack by Axe the other day and I went through one system with a Station and controlled by AAA and according to the influenace the church have a hold on some space near us.. Bob I believe are having a week off break before they continue with their campaign pushing north.. Once they finish there will be a vacuum..

I am not aware of all the politics at the moment but I think we are in a good position and I say we stay and continue to forge what we have.. Something we maybe should do is get rid of the goons.. baiting them with a well tanked BS plus a couple of cloaked ships and the rest of the gang on the otherside of the jump portal seems to work.

I think we've let the alliance grow to large to fast. At the moment there seems to be to many different wishes on who we as an alliance should be and what we should do. When we started up‚ we said we only did it due to game mechanic reasons. It soon moved on from there to become a small alliance but with what I understod as an agreement that it would be molded into the kind of alliance we have talked about many times since before our Tri days. A small alliance with tight friendships and highly skilled/motivated members. This is what I would like to see become a reality.

As I see it, we don't need as many corporations and low skill pilots as we have attracted into the alliance lately. At this point in our development we don't need to expand further. What I think would be best for Wreck at this point would be to further develop and fortify our home in Cloud Ring. It's far from the best region in Eve but it is ours and if we set our minds to it and focus our forces to it, I believe we can defend it against those who would be likely to want it. The strongest forces in Eve would most likely steamroll us if they really wanted (ie BoB, Goons, Russians) but let's face the facts, CR shouldn't be worth it for them.

We have some long time friends in other alliances that we should keep on good terms with, we could help them out occasionally and they could help us out if needed, but I think we should continue to stay neutral in the large multi-alliance wars as we have done so far. If we focus on CR and keep our interests in the surrounding areas mainly to some select high-end moons to give us better finances, then we can build our strength through quality and endurance rather then through quantity.

PvP-wise, we could still get a lot of action by heading out to roam in the surrounding regions as well as making 1-2 week roadtrips to destinations further away or camping entrypoints / pipes every now and then. Larger fleetfights and PОS siеges would still occur when we see a high-end moon we think we can take over or when someone threaten our space‚ but it wouldn't be as often as it has been for a while and in all honesty, the average member doesn't enjoy major lag-fights much anyways. Most just participate out of loyalty.

When it comes to leadership of the alliance and who should make decisions about what, I prefer the model we have in Wreck and at least in the beginning, had in UNAT. Оnе leader (Sacul as long as he accepts to keep that position) who has the support of a "council" that he has built up around him that he can both delegate tasks to and ask for opinions and advice when he see fit. The day-to-day things that need to be handled‚ like PОS-fuеlling‚ shopping etc should be laid out on work groups who are trusted enough to handle the massive amounts of assets we are talking about here and who can make sure that the task they as a group (or indiviual) have taken on will be carried out properly. It shouldn't be the "Top Dog" who handle all those tasks, he's got enough to do with everything else that needs to be handled in a corp and alliance.

My proposed course of action if my ideas and wishes aren't just mine would be the following:
1. Make sure a majority of the Wreck directors agree on what course we should take.
2. Inform the other CEО's in thе alliance and Wreck membership what Wreck leadership has agreed on in step 1.
3. In a friendly way‚ ask the corps who doesn't agree with us to move on to an alliance that suit them better.
4. Focus our efforts on making CR as hard as possible to take from us.
5. Have fun with smaller scale PvP while we continue to build our strength, but this time more in terms of quality and assets, then in numbers.
6. At a later point (maybe late next spring or early summer?) when we have a really strong cap fleet and several supercaps plus a memberbase with a better supply of isk and assets, re-evaluate our goals and maybe make a new attempt at taking Fountain.

As usual, these are my personal opinions. This is what I think would be good for Wreck and what I would like to see happen. If another course of action is decided on then I'll back it up and do my best to make the best out of that.

Yеs it might come as a surprise to you‚ but i am very much discontent with the way the alliance is gone, and if it wasnt for wreck i would have left the building long ago now.
There are several problems in the alliance, that make horrible to operate, and one of them is that is infrastructure is like for the most part wreck's.

Model of having one safe base (like 9-4RP)‚ with one changing forward attack base (which will not have blues all around) might be feasible.

Tighter alliance, with all corps having PVP focus is the ideal. 10 good pvpers in a corp won't make up for 20 others who lack the strive to try.


I've yet to participate in large scale fleet fights; but I'll try to around there when ever we take that path.

I will only comment on the pvp side now because thats the base of our alliance after all......right?
The days that UNAT (wreck even) was a pvp alliance died somewere after the syndicate compaign.
Now people just don't give a shit anymore.

Most small scale FC's like me just gave up forming roaming gangs‚ it's just to frustrating.
After you ask for X-es you might get 10 if your lucky, this with 150 in devils.
Most of the time I have been trying for the last 15minutes and just give up and go do my own thing.
Then 30 minutes later 10 people are camping F7C and the X-es just keep comming in and they have a camping gang of 20-25 in 5minutes.
By then my nails are gone and I feel like raiding the local farmacy.

I can give a load of these examples but you all know what they are.
This is not a new problem but yeah....
People are more happy making isk all day and maybe camp F7C with an alt.
The things we were afraid off hapend, we lost the family feeling and got rotted to the core.
Not just talking about UNAT, but wreck aswell.

I wouldn't mind if wreck alone just wen't there own way and did a compaign here and there.
Just roaming gangs all day and all over the place. No more pos warfare besides a moon or 2 here and there.

- If I see hardened pvp veterans not log on anymore because of the....." well why should I" ......thoughts makes me cry
- If I see a piece of our main group going to badivefi more and more because thats the only place they can do there thing makes me cry
- If I hear our main group, the core of wreck, moan on TS all day that makes my cry
- If I start a gang up and I get maybe 15 people wich mostly consist of the wreck inner core only (you know how you are ;D) makes me cry
- If I see you directors and CEО work so fucking hard to makе this work and we still need these kinda threads makes me cry.

We need to loose a shitload of dead weight and get into shape asap!
If we don't we gonna fall apart and will end up in the old group of wreck starting over again somewere ......
We gotta try to make this work‚ we achieved so much! Just don't get over ambitious again.
Let's get back in shape and do those roaming compaigns, leave the alts in 9-4 and kick some ass!
