today i had a rather crappy experience in pnq. lost my mrymidon‚ overall thats not surprising cuz i cant seem to keep them alive for anything. ive probably lost more myrms than anyone else in the game.

the reason for this post is because i found the situation there chaotic, disorganized and lacking in leadership. the FC was trying but was not utilizing the forces he had on hand. i probably should have ignored rob robb's call to warp to him at 50, but went in hoping others would be nearby to lend a hand. turns out i landed 130 from the hostiles, which was useless, then i grabbed the wrong bookmark that landed me 30km from an inty instead of my safe, and well... it was over pretty quick. that loss is being chocked up to my myrmidon curse.

i dont want to swell any heads, but the FC's in our alliance that I have flown with would have done a much better job tonite. Hrothgar has a particular knack for getting everyone involved and to do it in a way that minimizes our losses. i would like to see more CAN led fleets out there if we could. the situation now does not look good for the coalition, but then i was only there for a short time before being podded back to 4c.

had i been in charge i would have had the sniper BS and carriers doing the same thing, but i would have found a stealthbomber set up for speed (my hound does well over 500m/s cloaked) and used him to get into position for a warp in for support. if we could have landed some dictors and heavy support on top of their fleet we could have wiped the floor with them, but the FC did not even attempt anything like that.

not a rant really, just my thoughts. i'll be back as soon as i get some more ships bought and fit

I'm not trying to be sarcastic or negative‚ I just call it as I see it, but from my point of view it really dosn't seem like any one is in charge at the moment. I was in 18.00 ops fleet yesterday with total of about 120 odd players. 40 of those where CAN and only about 10 Un-nat, rest ws a ATF and RQM mix. So unless some one from RQM pulls out a rabbit during this week I have a hard time seeing RM being able to hold on to PNQY. Ad after fridays disater now is the time RQM should shine and not lets things drop as it seems like they are doing now. I may have the wrong picture of thing in pnqy becouse I havn't been able to get in to that ssyteminthe past 3-4 days now.

Considering that this is their campaign and we are helping them out as good as we can, and getting some good fights and experiences along the way. This rest mainly on the shoulders on RQM. IMО is should nеver be put on to CAN fc's to lead unless here isn't any qualified RQM fc's around. If we start to fc things‚ I'm afraid that we will get the hot patato dropped on our lap. This is basicly a RQM fountain campaign. It's THEIR duty to lead both in the larger ops and on smaller once battles.

But hey if there is any FC's in CAN that want to try it out i'm all for it. Good learning experience.

Though I have to say that we have quite a few good FC's and they all do very well against DSC, VVV, Rebellion and such. But against PL on larger scale battles I only tink Hroth has the needed experince to take them on.

thanks for the nice words.. I agree very much with your tactic Pierre.. Evertime im in a fight under another FC or doing it myslef i later try to think of how i would do it or what could have been done to improve it.. In the instance you speak of me and you have very like minds

I really think Many many of our fc's could handle PL without trouble.. We have a great group of people that are very knowledgable...

I agree with Jack here that this is Requiems deal down there although i have FC'd there once and it went well..

In our home we would always FC.. I have had unat do it before though but i was tired or lazy or something (some bs excuse).

I kinda look at it like this.. The alliance with the most on the line should really be running it.. I feel im capable to run there fleets and do well but if something went wrong and they had the most assests on the line..... i dont want my ass chewed over it...

Best thing i can do in fountain .. is keep tabs on everything.. put forth my input to the fc's and directors and do my best if i dont like something to make sure it steers toward the best interest of everyone.

Our full time Fountain focus could end by Wednesday or last as long as 1.5 more weeks...

If PNQY falls i will be pulling us out to persue other things.

i swеar sometimes you guys say all this stuff that im good that it makes me nervous lol actually even hesitant to FC cause im scared to fuck up and not live up to expectations
